Two CNOOC oil fields put into operation

Guangzhou: China’s largest offshore oil and gas producer, China National Offshore Oil Company’s (CNOOC) two oil fields in South China Sea have been put into operation this weekend.

One oil field Panyu4-2/5-1, 75.5% owned by CNOOC, is expected to reach its peak output level in 2014, and the other one, Liuhua 4-1, totally owned by the company, is expected to reach its peak year in 2013. [31/12/12]
