Greek owner Diana Shipping has entered into a time charter contract with Viterra Chartering for 2005-built panamax bulker Calipso.
.The charter will commence today, and is through to between October 1 and December 15 at a rate of $10,400 per day. The rate is substantially higher than the $8,250 per day previously being paid by Uniper.
Diana Shipping, which owns a fleet of 37 bulkers, says the charter will generate around $2.59m of revenue based on the minimum time charter period.
