Shanghai: Sainty Marine has announced that it has signed shipbuilding contracts with Thai owner Precious Shipping for the construction of ten 64,000 dwt bulkers.
The total value of the contract is around $276m and deliveries will start from 2016.
Precious Shipping recently ordered eight new vessels at Taizhou Sanfu Ship Engineering, and currently has a fleet of 40 vessels made up of 31 handysizes and 9 supramaxes. [04/03/14]
