Singapore: EMAS AMC, the subsea services division of Ezra Holdings, has finalised three contracts with Noble Energy, worth a combined $300m.
The scope of work includes engineering, procurement, construction and installation of subsea tie-backs for the Big Bend, Dantzler and Gunflint field developments in the US Gulf of Mexico.
Fabrication of 16 subsea structures and stalking and spooling of over 160 miles (258 km) of line pipe has already begun at EMAS AMC’s facilities in Texas.
Offshore execution is scheduled for 2015. Five EMAS AMC offshore construction vessels will be deployed, including the new ultra-high tension, deepwater reel-lay and heavy-lift vessel Lewek Constellation.

This is the second big contract EMAS AMC has won from Noble Energy. In 2011, Noble selected EMAS AMC’s Aker Marine Contractors as the prime installation contractor for subsea equipment and umbilicals for the US-based oil and gas company’s Tamar development in the Mediterranean Sea.
