Eastern Pacific Shipping taps GSI for more LNG dual-fuel tankers

Singapore-based Eastern Pacific Shipping (EPS) has signed up for more tanker newbuilds at CSSC Guangzhou Shipyard International (GSI).

Idan Ofer’s diversified owner has booked up to four LNG dual-fuel aframax/LR2 product carriers.

The two firm 115,000 dwt units each costing around $70m will deliver in March and December of 2026.

The deal also includes options for two more vessels, potentially taking the order to $280m.

EPS’ return to GSI follows the delivery of the world’s first dual-fuel LNG suezmax tanker in 2022.
