There’s just 100 days to go until the inaugural Geneva Dry kicks off at the Hotel President Wilson. The two-day summit has quickly cemented its position as the single, must-attend global event for dry bulk shipping, a place to seal deals and find solutions to many of the industry’s most pressing issues.
Among the latest important bodies to commit as a supporting organisation is INTERCARGO, the leading international forum for dry bulk shipowners, managers and operators, joining other key bodies such as WISTA and the Propeller Club in supporting Geneva Dry.
Every one of the nine panels spread out over May 2 and May 3 is now populated with top names from within the global dry bulk scene, with both the owner and shipper sides equally represented to give delegates a unique insight into where the markets are headed and what the sector can expect when it comes to digital and decarbonisation developments.
ABS, the leading American classification society, has this week become the event’s 42nd sponsor, while delegate sign-ups continue to pour in with the hotel reporting room occupancy levels are now very high for the opening days of May.

Geneva Dry brings together all elements of the commodities shipping sector. Split into sectors, panels feature analysts, financiers, miners, traders and shipowners to discuss where the markets are headed.
Sessions include minor bulks, agri-commodities, coal, iron ore, decarbonisation as well as an entire afternoon spent discussing digital.
