N-Sea charters another Rederij Groen OSV

Dutch subsea services specialist N-Sea Group has entered into an agreement with Rederij Groen to long-term charter the vessel 2016-built offshore support vessel Aquarius-G, formerly known as the VOS Star.

The Aquarius-G is 68.04 metres long and 14.95 metres wide, has a draught of five metres, and can execute IRM, survey, UXO, and cable operations in the North Sea.

The company long-term chartered the 4-Winds OSV from Rederij Groen in November 2023 and has now added the Aquarius-G from the same company to strengthen its footprint and position in the subsea service industry, following the expansion of the offshore oil & gas and offshore wind markets.

“N-Sea will have the vessel under full management and control. By having dedicated vessels, N-Sea can provide safer and more efficient operations through working with fully committed and integrated teams,” the subsea specialist said.

On Tuesday, N-Sea announced that it chartered the hybrid survey and ROV support vessel Geo Ranger on a long-term deal from Geo Plus adding it to the Geo Focus chartered from the same firm which has been under N-Sea management and control since January 2022.
