Solstad Offshore scores PSV contract with Total in Brazil

Norwegian OSV giant Solstad Offshore has been awarded a contract by Total E&P do Brasil for the charter of a platform supply vessel for a period of 13 months.

The vessel will support Total’s activities in the Napa Field, and Total has two six-month options to extend the contract. Solstad will use AHTS Far Sagaris for the contract until a PSV from the Solstad fleet can take over later in the year.

Additionally, Equinor Brazil has extended the contracts for PSV’s Far Scotsman and Far Serenade for three months each.

Comments

  1. I wonder why Solstad always feature a Farstad (or an ex-Farstad) boat in their media releases? Is it just because the Farstad boats were beautifully designed, built and maintained? Are there any good-looking Solstad boats?
