Tidewater PSV secures Neptune Energy contract

OSV owner Tidewater has clinched a charter deal with Neptune Energy for its platform supply vessel Troms Lyra.

The 2013-built unit has been fixed for about four months at £19,500 (approx. $25,000) per day.

The contract, set to start April 15, will see the Vard-built ship that Tidewater took over with the acquisition of Troms Offshore in 2013, on supply duties for the plug and abandonment jackup rig Well-Safe Protector for four wells firm.

Neptune Energy contracted Aberdeen-headquartered decommissioning specialists Well-Safe Solutions in 2022 to plug and abandon at least four subsea and 21 platform wells in the Dutch and UK sectors of the North Sea.
