Winning Shipping continues to buy capesizes

Chinese dry bulk owner Winning Shipping continues to pick up vessels on the second-hand market.

Broking sources tell Splash that Winning has bought the 180,200 dwt capesize bulker Yuritamou from Japanese owner Doun Kisen for $23m.

Winning Shipping has bought four capes since the beginning of 2017. In January, it acquired two capes, Dong A Leto and Dong A Ether, from South Korea’s Dong A Tanker and in February it snapped up the 2002-built Portage from Cargill for just $8.5m.
