After more than a year on the sales block Turkey’s Yasa Shipping has finally sold the 82,000 dwt Yasa Neslihan for $11.5m. Brokers link Eurobulk to the purchase, knocked down in price significantly from earlier demands.

This is the first sale by the 24-ship strong bulker outfit since 2013.In June 2018 the Istanbul owner placed the 82,000 dwt Yasa Neslihan, 75,000 dwt sister ships Yasa Team and Yasa Unity, and sister supramaxes Yasa Gulten and Yasa Ozcan up for sale. All the ships were built in 2005 and 2006. This year Yasa is taking delivery of four ultramaxes.
