Indonesian buyer of Pacific London revealed

The mystery buyer of Sinokor’s aframax Pacific London has been tracked down.

Last week brokers had confusingly mixed reports of the buyer. Splash can confirm Indonesia’s Cakra Bahana has paid $15m for the 17-year-old ship.

Cakra has two similarly aged tankers on its fleet list, an aframax and an MR tanker, bought in recent months. It tends to focus on older tankers.

Sinokor has been rejigging its fleet a great deal of late, making the most of a pick up in prices for tanker tonnage.
