大连：中国交通运输部和国家发改委发布公告，正式批准大连港，唐山港和宁波港的七个泊位接收40万吨级valemax。
这七个泊位位于大连大孤山港区，唐山曹妃甸港区，青岛董家口港区和宁波的马迹山与鼠浪湖港区。
连云港港在2013年停靠过valemax，不包含在获批港口之内。
该通知警告港口运营商不能在未获批准的情况下接收valemax和扩建码头。
中国矿运从巴西淡水河谷订购的四艘40万载重吨VLOC中的一艘，远卓海，本周抵达青岛董家口码头，成为两年来中国港口卸载的第一艘Valemax。
