明德重工宣布破产

南通人民法院宣布明德重工破产，原因是船厂无法完成重组。

舜天船舶在2014年12月作为最大债权人申请重组明德重工，但是在6月被迫出局。接管人认为舜天船舶严峻的债务问题不足以支持重组。船厂接管人未能找到新的投资人。

明德曾是一家领先的化学品船建造商，由于财政困难未能得到银行支持，不得不在新订单上与舜天结盟。

目前舜天船舶面临财政危机，企图卖掉四艘64,000dwt散货船偿还债务。一旦重组失败公司面临29.4亿元的亏损。
