招商局能源运输宣布董事会批准公司与中外运长航成立的合资公司China VLCC在三家国内船厂订购十艘VLCC。
招商局能源运输称合同细节会晚点公布。
China VLCC目前运营34艘VLCC，另有9艘新造船订单。十月，公司卖给希腊公司Navios两艘VLCC，为New Medal (297,600 dwt, 2009年造)和New Founder (297,400 dwt, 2008年造)，价格为1.33亿美元。
招商局集团，招商局能源运输的母公司，目前正在考虑收购中外运长航。
